Career Wardrobe Is Evolving in San Francisco

New Career Wardrobe Schedule

Wednesdays beginning March 25
Dress for Success San Francisco Office

Client Hours:
10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
1:30 PM – 3:30 PM

Beginning this month, Dress for Success San Francisco will introduce a Self-Directed Career Wardrobe model, designed to expand access while maintaining personalized support for the women we serve.

Inspired by successful programs across the Dress for Success global network, this model shifts from longer one-on-one appointments to a guided, self-directed boutique experience. The change allows us to serve more women while dedicating more staff and volunteer time to career coaching, employer engagement, and ongoing client support.

Career Wardrobe remains the foundation of our work. What changes is the structure — not our commitment.

A Program Designed to Expand Access

During Career Wardrobe days, clients will move through the Boutique in a structured environment where they can:

• Select professional attire with styling guidance
• Take a professional headshot using an on-site setup
• Schedule follow-up services and programs

Clients will continue completing intake forms so our team understands their employment goals and immediate needs before they arrive.

Part of a Broader Evolution

This new model will also launch at Dress for Success San Jose, where Career Wardrobe will take place on Thursdays beginning March 19 at our temporary boutique space at Westfield Valley Fair.

Across both locations, the goal remains the same: ensure every woman has access to the tools, preparation, and confidence she needs to move forward in her career.
