“I started volunteering with Dress for Success San Francisco/San Jose looking for something that could light me up and get me out of my seat. Equality for women paired with helping through fashion felt like such a natural fit.

But the more I got involved, the more I realized the clothes are just the beginning. What really happens here is partnership, walking beside women as they build confidence, find community, and gain access to tools I certainly took for granted.

I’ve been fortunate to have mentors, coaches, and opportunities that helped me grow, and I feel a responsibility to share what I’ve been given, to pay it forward, to hold open a door for someone else the way others did for me.
