Tina Jones has headed Human Resources at Cadence Design Systems, a leading technology company, since 2007. Cadence has nearly 10,000 employees in 25 countries and has consistently been recognized by Fortune as one of the 100 Best Companies to Work For. Jones has led the company’s talent, employer brand and community strategies in a time of significant growth for the company – on every front, from hiring to market cap expansion.
Prior to leading HR, Jones was an attorney, both at Cadence and at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, specializing in litigation, employment law, executive compensation and corporate governance .
Jones received her BA in political science with distinction from Stanford University and her Juris Doctor degree from UCLA Law School, where she served as an editor on the UCLA Law Review; she then clerked on the US Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.
