About Chip

Albert “Chip” Zecher is the Chief Legal Officer of Engel & Völkers, a global leader in luxury real estate. With a distinguished legal career spanning over three decades, Chip has held leadership roles across the corporate and nonprofit sectors, demonstrating a steadfast commitment to equity, service, and mentorship.

He currently serves as Chair of the Board of Directors for UC Law San Francisco, where he plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of legal education and advancing institutional access and excellence. Previously, he served on the Board of Trustees at The Harker School, where he supported educational opportunity and strategic growth.

A longtime resident of San Francisco, Chip is deeply committed to civic betterment and is actively engaged in efforts to improve quality of life in the Tenderloin neighborhood. His work reflects a belief in the power of community, and in the importance of creating pathways to opportunity for those most in need.

Chip has been a dedicated supporter and mentor to Dress for Success San Francisco/San Jose, championing the mission to empower women toward economic independence - most recently Chip led a session of the Professional Women's Group (PWG) Employment Retention Program.
