Corporate volunteering with Dress for Success San Francisco/San Jose is more than a team-building day - it’s a direct investment in Bay Area women as they build confidence, skills, and economic independence.
Since 2006, we’ve supported more than 19,000 women with the career clothing, coaching, core skills, and community they need to secure meaningful employment at a livable wage.
And 2026 is a Milestone Year! It’s our 20th Anniversary serving women of the Bay Area. We are excited to partner with your company - together, we can create opportunities that transform lives!
Employee Engagement & Group Volunteering Opportunities
Engage your team in meaningful opportunities that directly support Bay Area women.
Corporate volunteers play an essential role in preparing women for interviews, organizing clothing donations, and supporting program days in our offices. We also offer activations at your HQ or virtually with our clients. All these volunteer days strengthen Corporate teams while meeting real needs in our community. Our corporate volunteer experiences are hands-on, high-impact, and designed around what women need most right now.
Looking for a deeper way to partner with Dress for Success San Francisco/San Jose? We offer premier sponsorship opportunities that can be customized to align with your company’s values, goals, and employee engagement priorities. We can build a package to provide brand awareness, employee volunteering, and true impact on the Bay Area.
In-Office Client Career Support Day
Spend a full day supporting client appointments, styling, inventory work, and coaching. Each day is unique based on your company’s needs.
Up to 12 volunteers per day (4-6 per three-hour shift)
Virtual Career Coaching Workshop
A 2-hour coaching session for 10+ clients, focused on resumes, mock interviews, and LinkedIn profiles.
Up to 20 volunteers (min 10, two-hour shifts), held virtually
Corporate Clothing Drive
Host a clothing collection at your office. We provide templates and a DFS representative for your kick-off session.
Community Clothing Donation Day
Volunteer at a DFS-hosted donation event. Help greet donors, receive items, and sort clothing.
Up to 20 volunteers per day (6-10 per three-hour shift).

Because meaningful volunteer engagement takes real infrastructure. Dress for Success San Francisco/San Jose operates with just eight full-time employees, and we’re deeply grateful for the time and energy our volunteers bring to this work.
Volunteer groups like yours play a vital role in advancing our mission to support Bay Area women on their career journeys. Alongside the hands-on experience your team will have, we ask corporate volunteer partners to contribute financially to help sustain the programs that make this work possible. Your team’s time is powerful—and when paired with a financial commitment, it directly strengthens our ability to deliver career coaching, workforce support, and the resources women need to achieve economic independence.
