This August, Dress for Success San Francisco/San Jose and Tencent Americas are joining forces to offer a free three-part virtual Career Development Series designed to help women navigate today's job market with greater confidence.
Over two impactful sessions, we’re giving women the tools, and insights they need to feel confident, prepared, and ready to land their next big role.
From learning how to use AI in your job search to receiving personalized career coaching and mock interview practice, participants will gain practical tools, valuable feedback, and direct access to professionals from a variety of industries.
Whether you're actively job searching, exploring new career opportunities, or looking to strengthen your professional skills, this series offers valuable tools and direct access to experienced professionals.
The series is a structured path designed for maximum growth and will help attendees move quickly from uncertainty to action.
Workshop 1: AI for Job Seekers Panel
Tuesday, August 11 | 1:00–2:00 PM
Stop guessing and start optimizing. Hear directly from Tencent professionals in an engaging panel discussion about Artificial Intelligence (AI) and how job seekers can use AI tools to succeed in today's job market.
Workshop 2: Small Group Career Coaching
Tuesday, August 11 | 2:00–3:00 PM
Gain personalized career guidance in a supportive small-group setting. Tencent volunteers from a variety of professional backgrounds——will provide advice, answer questions, and share real-world insights from their own career journeys.
Workshop 3: Mock Interviews
Wednesday, August 12 | 2:00–3:00 PM
Practice your interviewing skills with Tencent volunteers who have experience in interviewing and hiring. Participants will work in small groups of 2–3 clients and receive constructive feedback to help them feel more prepared and confident for any interview.

Participants are encouraged to attend all three sessions to maximize their learning and growth. From exploring AI tools and career pathways to receiving personalized coaching and interview practice, each session is designed to help women build confidence and move closer to their career goals.
