After graduating with a degree in Computer Science, Remi entered a competitive job market feeling uncertain about her next steps. “I was struggling with my job search and was lost on how to move forward with my career,” she shared.
Everything began to shift when she attended a Dress for Success job fair.
There, she connected with professionals who offered guidance and encouragement—and found a community of women who shared their own experiences navigating self-doubt and imposter syndrome.
Through the Job Search Program, Remi built confidence, strengthened how she presented herself in interviews, and began pursuing opportunities she hadn’t considered before.
“I was able to present myself better and stronger in interviews, which allowed me to gain new work opportunities I didn’t know I could get,” she said.
Today, Remi is employed at Heritage Bank of Commerce.
