Client Momentum Builds Through LinkedIn Coaching
“I came into this event not feeling confident about my ability to use LinkedIn to its full potential and putting myself out there. I left feeling extremely confident.
I learned about premium features and how to use them. I also learned about ways to improve my profile to increase engagement.
I really liked that during our discussions, we were also able to branch out and talk about other job hunting aspects, strategy improvement suggestions, and ways to connect with others. This was truly an amazing event. Thank you!” - Taneisha, Project Premium workshop participant
Despite the early November stormy weather, the LinkedIn Learning and LinkedIn Premium features workshop brought attendees ready to learn!
Attended by 19 program participants, 12 Santa Clara University Delta Sigma Pi members, 3 San Jose volunteers and 12 LinkedIn volunteers, the LinkedIn Mountain View Community room was buzzing with excitement.
“I was filled with joy to witness every single person engaged and contributing to the conversation regardless of the varying levels of skills and comfort levels they may have regarding the platform,” said Miracle Gumabo, Community Relations Assistant Manager, who facilitated the workshop.
One participant shared that the event had a profound emotional impact on her, helping lift her out of a depressive period brought on by months of ongoing technical interviews. She expressed that she wished she had joined Dress for Success programs sooner, having now experienced the deep sense of support that’s been offered to her. Hearing that kind of feedback was a heartwarming reminder of the power of community.
