My calling to work in politics and philanthropy is part of this belief that serving my community, my state, and my country gives meaning to life, and stretches beyond my own self - therefore meeting the ideal of philotimo.

Susie worked with Stefanie on Secretary Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaigns and London Breed’s mayoral campaign.
For nearly two decades, Stefanie has committed her career to advancing progressive political candidates and causes on the local, statewide, and national level. Recognized nationally as a leader in her field, Stefanie has established an admirable reputation as a high-caliber fundraiser and seasoned political operative, delivering unmatched results to the high-level political campaigns and non-profit organizations that she manages and raises capital for.
Stefanie founded her firm SGR Consulting, of which she currently serves as CEO, in 2004. SGR Consulting, a San Francisco-based firm, specializes in providing strategic finance and political strategy services to political campaigns and non-profit organizations. Under Stefanie's leadership, SGR Consulting has raised over $500 million for its numerous clients, which have included President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, California Governor Gavin Newsom, the United Nations Foundation, and Futures Without Violence. SGR Consulting has also played an integral role in the success of civic and state-wide bonds and initiatives that have unlocked millions of dollars in government funding.
In 2019, Stefanie became the Chief Development Officer of the Democratic Data Exchange (DDX), a privately-held company that facilitates the exchange of proprietary voter data between progressively aligned organizations, parties, committees, and campaigns. Stefanie helped raise the initial $10 million in seed funding that enabled DDX to successfully exchange data in 40 U.S. states during the 2020 election cycle.
Stefanie currently serves on the Board of Children of Shelters, a San Francisco based non-profit organization working to provide support and education for children living in or being served by the homeless shelter system. She also serves on the Board of TogetherSF, an organization that provides volunteer and engagement opportunities for San Francisco residents.
Stefanie’s lifelong love of and attachment to San Francisco has manifested itself in philanthropic involvement and employment of her professional acumen for the benefit of civic and charitable institutions. Stefanie currently serves as a Board member of Children of Shelters, a San Francisco based non-profit organization working to provide support and education for children living in or being served by the homeless shelter system. Appointed to the Golden Gate Park Concourse Authority in 2010 by then-Mayor Gavin Newsom, Stefanie previously served as a San Francisco Commissioner for the City and County of San Francisco. Stefanie now serves as Chair of the San Francisco-Thessaloniki Sister City Association, appointed by late San Francisco Mayor Edwin Lee in 2017. The San Francisco city organization is comprised of a group of private citizens who pursue sister city activities important to them including municipal, business, trade, educational and cultural exchanges.
Stefanie is a native to the San Francisco Bay Area, a UCLA graduate, a proud Greek-American, and a mother to young twins.
