2023 Volunteer Awardee:
Sandy Lynch
"I love coming to Dress for Success.
I like being with the women, I like hearing their stories, and where I can help, I want to be there…. a few words of encouragement, and the things I can say to help her get where she needs to go.”
- Sandy Lynch
Over the past 18 years, Dress for Success San Francisco has served more than 15,000 women, and Sandy - Sandy has styled over a 1,000!
Sandy is native San Franciscan, she graduated from Lowell High School and UC Berkeley, and resides in the Miraloma Park Area. Sandy has one grown son and one grandson. She has traveled to many countries and belongs to the United Million Mile Club.
After 30 years, working in health care and benefit management for major corporations, Sandy retired in 2011. That was lucky for Dress for Success as she needed a new project!
Since then, Sandy has been a leadership volunteer for our Career Wardrobe program - helping job searching clients with personal styling appointments for over 10 years. Sandy is always willing to help - whether staffing a table for us, or labeling hundred of post cards. We are proud to honor Sandy for her volunteer service.
